Dr. Bekerian received her PhD in Experimental 心理学 from the University of 加州, Berkeley. Upon graduating she worked for the Medical Research Council's Applied 心理学 Unit, 剑桥, UK, where she was a senior research scientist on applied memory and trauma projects. She then worked for the University of East London, as a Reader in the School of 心理学. While in the UK she received training as a gestalt practitioner, and is currently licensed under the UK Health and Care Professions Council.
